I would like to have a copper shower pan and two walls coppered as a finished product. I came along this picture and liked what I saw. I've spoken to a few metal fabricators and they say they can do it but need to figure it out. I am hoping that some of you pros can help a guy out? My concerns are mainly about the pan. 1, I suppose the pan should have some sort of flange or lip which the copper wall panels will cover? 2, I guess the inside of the curb needs to be fitted with wood which is attached to the subloor? 3, Since there is no mortar or tile in the pan, what do I do about slope? If a slope is fabricated in the pan, how do I lay the pan properly on the subfloor without it rocking?

I'm a contractor in Boston. Are there any code issues I should be aware of?

Thank you so much, I look forward to your wise advice.

Mike
