My fan motor went bad on my heat pump. It is a ge motor with 3 wires black orange and blue. The black went to DF1 the orange and blue went to the cap.
Well the ner motor I have has 4 wires. Brown, brown/white. Purple and black. The wire diagram says brown and brown/white to cap, purple to L1 and black to L2.

How am I supposed to wire this up? There is no wire on the new motor that goes to the DF1.

I currently have the new motor wired the way it says to on the new motor wiring diag. and that's with no wire going to the DF1 like the old had. And as soon as I flip the breaker back on the motor comes on and dosen't cut off, it just runs continuously
