I have been charged for the first time shoplifting under CAD 5000. So, I like to have answers for the below queries

1. Alternative Diversion Programme - Will the records entered into the CPIC database? If No, then will the canada immigration can know about the record by any means? Will the local police have any records?

2. Absolute discharge - In this case, is the criminal record be entered into the CPIC? If Yes, then how to get it purged and how long will it take?
