Hi I am a Canadian that came over to the US to visit my boyfriend and have been here for a year this month January, anyway I have my child here with me as well and my child is enrolled in school full time high school anyway I want to be able to work here as does my child he is at the legal age to work 15, so I want to know if there is any possible way to legally work in the US I only came over with my passport. And have not once returned back to Canada in the year.

No. in your current status, you are not eligible for any work authorized nonimmigrant visa classification; and no permanent resident classification.
You are now no longer eligible to enter the US with only your Canadian passport and are illegal in the US, as is your son. You are both subject to deportation.
Consult with an immigration attorney immediately. Good luck.

How do they know how long I have been in the US for? I didn't get any stamps on my passport, also I crossed before and was asked how long I was here I had been gone for 2 months but when coming through a month later they had no idea I was just here
