I have neighbors who stay next door and they have a musicbox that plays christmas for 2 months the box is right next to my bedroom and that's all I hear in my bedroom and house.Theres a volume but they choice on purpose have it on the loudest.I've asked them to turn down or off.I can't go to bed until after they turn it off because it is so loud.I'm fed up with this and tired of the lack of sleep.I have to walk around my house with earplugs and have my TV up loud so I can cancel out there noise. They don't play my bills why should I have to be tortured by these hateful people. There is a city noise ordinance but don't enforce it.I called the police they never come so I guess I have no rights. It feels like I stay in an apartment but I live in a house

If the police said they were within the noise limits allowed... and there are specific measurable noise levels in the law. Then its clearly not as loud as you are making it out to be. Seriously... from a separate house you have to turn your TV all the way up to drown it out? You do know how loud that would have to be... sound diminishes in volume by the square of the distance... meaning it's a logrithmic progression. Not linear. If you took advanced high school math or even high school physics you will understand what I just described.

To hear it THAT loud INSIDE your separate single family house... it would have to be so loud OUTSIDE your house you could not carry on a conversation SHOUTING much less a normal level one. That means its even far LOUDER inside their house, to the point of causing hearing damage to them in minutes... not days or even hours.

NO police Dpet in the country would allow that... which tells me you are making gross exagerations here. And that makes everything you said subject to doubt. Never mind the fact you seem to be the only person that is bothered by it... also hard to believe if there was any truth to it.

After all, you don't pay their bills either... so why do they have to bow to your every demand?

You aren't entitled to absolute quiet under any law. Buy a 1,000 acre spread in Montana to put you house in the center of if you want that... but I don't think the wildlife would cooperate with your demands either. Or overflying jets.

I think you might be the annoying neighbor here based on what you claim and what that would imply mathematically IF it was true. Is this really about you just hating anything remotely related to a non-muslim religious holiday? Or your neighbors?

If you was in a cheap apartment with paper thin walls rather than separate houses you claim, the story might be more plausible. Because I know how loud something would have to be to even hear it in a dead quiet house from a neighbors house... and how loud it would have to be INSIDE their house just to hear it outside in the first place... because I actually have a house... any my neighbors could have a party on their outside deck I would have a hard time hearing at all in my house with everything off as I lay in bed NEAR that deck... much less as loudly as you claim.

My forced air furnace makes more sound blowing hot air than is needed to drown out nearly all outside noise and I live in a densely populated are with small fractional acre lots (average is 1/4 to 1/3 acre). Much less having to blast out a TV to do it.
