I was home after having surgery and watched a movie either on lifetime or hallmark. It was about a native american indian boy and a girl that grow up together as friends. They are in high school and the girl has a boyfriend that does not like the indian boy. The boyfriend decides the girl spends too much time with the indian and is jealous of him. So the boy friend rapes her and then lets his two friends rape her. She goes away to hollywood and becomes a star. She makes a movie that tells about her life and then she moves back home where she is dying. The indian boys father comes and takes care of her while she is sick. The boy comes back and she realizes that she has always loved him. Then she dies and she realizes that the indian boy is dead too.

I loved the movie but can't remember the name.
