I took a pregnancy test Thursday night it said positive, I took another christmas eve morning and it said positive. I had intercourse christmas afternoon and right after I started bleeding a little. Since then I have been spotting. Its like my period just a lot lighter. Should I worry? I am going to set up an appt. with a obgyn sometime this week.

Usually sex during pregnancy is perfectly fine, and it is not uncommon to have some spotting after you have had recent intercourse. Even light bleeding can occur in early pregnancy for some women.

It would be a good idea, however, to hold off on any further intercourse until you see your doctor. In some situations, usually if a woman has a history of early miscarriage or frequent bleeding for example, it may be suggested to wait until later into the pregnancy to resume having intercourse.

Your doctor will either make such a suggestion to you or ease your mind and let you know that resuming intercourse would not be a concern for you.
