I was adopted in 1973 from the Mississippi Children's Home through closed adoption. I need any suggestions on how to do this.

There are several sites where adoptees and their birth parents can register to try and reconnect. Registering on those sites seems your best bet.

There's actually a sticky at the top of the adoption page here on AMHD where I reference 3 of the more popular--and successful, from what I hear--reunion websites. You can also contact a licensed private investigator to help you search.

Please understand that your biological parents may not want to be found. They may also be overjoyed to be found. This is why I always recommend reunion websites instead of private searching. In order for a reunion website to work, BOTH parties must be searching.
