Good morning. First post here, so hope it goes well. I have read the general info from HVAC about giving as much details as you can. I have limited info at moment, but will try update further when I get more info.
My local social club has units which are, what I believe, are split units. There is the fan box outside the club, and these are connected by tubes & wires to the unit that are located inside the club that blow the heat / cooling into the premises. THe units inside the club are, I believe, Carrier 48SMC--n units. These are positioned above the false ceiling, and the heat / cooling comes out through insulated pipes that emit the air through vents at different pints around the club. I hope that this gives enough info on what units we are working with, however I will try get further infornation if I can.
However the main problem we have at the moment is the heating. We are using the Remote control unit to try get the heating as warm as possible during this cold period. We can feel the hot air coming through the vents, however every so often it then shuts off, and the temperature is no where near what it should be, even if we stick it on maximum.
My initial thoughts would be that somewhere, wherever the temperature sensor is on the unit, it might be that warm, however it's certainly not that warm where it should be.
Can anyone confirm if this could be the case, and if so how we would go about moving the temperature sensor (if this is possible). Alternatively, if anyone else has any other suggestions, these would be greatly welcomed.
My thanks in advance to all, and if I get any updated info, I will advise.
