Hello All,
There was a special I watched on TV around 1987 that I have never seen again. It drives me CRAZY, every year around this time I search for it.
From what I remember (I have a friend who also saw it which proves I am not crazy) I think it was animated like claymation or stop motion and was about how Santa was a young boy on a world where he would live forever. He made toys and discovered there were lots of children on Earth he could make them for, but for him to live on Earth he would be a mortal man. He agreed, aged over the years, and in the end, because he was so giving, was made immortal. I think there was a star that twinkled in the sky at the end.
It is NOT "The LIfe and Adventures of Santa Clause". I even talked to a Rankin/Bass expert who could not help.
If anyone can help or guide me in the right direction it would be so appreciated. Please... Please... help me stop this yearly madness!!
