I am obsessed with fashion. I am a management student now. But I am always into the fashion field. I got a movie offer but my parents are totally against it since they feel that I wouldn't have a bright future and doesn't get into a good family at the time of marriages and ****. Don't you think that I have to fulfill my dreams in this life and feel satisfied or should follow my parents wishes? If I have to go on my own way, how should I convince them? I really need a help for this. Do HELP ME OUT!

To put it simply, parents can tell you what to do as long as you are a minor child and they are supporting you, but you can plan for a different future even now - semi secretly or openly. Management skills will transfer very well to fashion. You could look into courses about textiles, fabrication, other subjects 'behind the scenes' of fashion, and your parents might be willing. Present it as a wise career choice and research the reasons.
A movie offer depends on the movie, what you would give up, what role you would play, how reliable the movie company is, whether you would have to move and give up school. You could still act later.
I have a feeling you are in a country such as India or near there, where parents are more likely to want to control daughters right through marriage and beyond?

Thanks for spending you time on my problem. But the movie offer which I was offered was a lead female role. I was selected in the star search. It is the director who gave hits. Now I am 17 after completing my degree I will be 19+.

And I feel that I will be too old to get into this field. And you, that was a good guess. I am from India.
