Can a landlord break their own lease in Texas to move back in to the property with the tenants still having 6 months left on their lease? In Texas

Hello in:

No.

If your landlord is trying to do that, send him a certified letter telling him to evict you if he thinks he can. Otherwise, you're staying.

To reply.
However, the landowner and I had an intimate relationship. After 7 years he is trying to evict me after he was charged with family assault with bodily injury. He has filed eviction on me without even giving notice to vacate. He has bond conditions that don't allow him on the property and he just puts that "he wants his home back" as the reason for eviction. He and I have no written agreement. No rent money due. Nothing. Can I countersue for him trying to break an oral agreement with me to live on his property. We are not common law married and this is Texas.
