Also will your emplioyer agree to it? How will you get the text for you to type?

I do have computer now, but it is actually not mine, my friend's, and he is not an expert as well. Just sorry for the stupidness, I don't want to waste my money and buy some other stuff.

On bad-weather days or sick days, I was able to do some of my work at home using Word and Excel and an email connection with my workplace, plus my work passwords got me into the company database while at home. I have an ancient computer and DSL.

I was forced by illness to retire about six months ago. I had worked at that place for 25 years.

Yes the broadband connection and any computer is enough to prepare the documents and get them to your employer, but your bigger problem is how they will get the work to you. That's why I asked if they have agreed to it.

There is an issue if you will have to connect to the employer's network. If so the IT dept may require some minimum specs.
