Solve what? You did not state what you have to do. Convert to improper fractions?

If that is a sequence question, I can see only one sequence, and this can be found by first converting the fractions into improper fractions.

turn the fractions into improper fractions, by doing so.

11/4 + 29/6 + 11/8, then find lowest common factor (LCF)

66/24 + 116/24 + 33/24 = 215/24(improper fraction), 8 23/24 or 9.958333333.

Something else you might do, is add all the whole numbers first, to make things easier and not get so large of numerators.

2\frac34 + 4\frac56 +1\frac38 = (2+4+1) \frac{18 + 20 + 9}{24} = 7\frac{47}{24} = 8\frac{23}{24}
