Craftsman engine no fuel. Float is OK. 5HP. Runs when carb sprayed.

Are you getting fuel into the fuel bowl? It should run out when the float drops. Is the needle stuck or the jet plugged? If it runs with a fuel spray, you are not getting it from the tank to the carb.

Getting fuel in the bowl but not to the carb. Must be a blockage but I'm not sure what to do next. Take the carb off the engine? Then what?

Make sure there is no trash in the main jet coming from the bowl. Take a small piece of copper wire and probe up the jet. It should be open into the carb body. If not, you'll probably have to take the carb off and look to see what is stopping the fuel flow. Does this have needle screws for mixture and idle? If so, remove the mixture screw and blow air back through the fuel bowl to see if it pops anything out. If there is a primer button, make sure you push it 5-6 times and choke it. We don't have snow blowers in Atlanta, but 4 cycle engines for lawn mowers are all about the same .
