Hello I'm Dee and is starting a cleaning office business, my thing is this, I'm a naturally shy person but I know that this what I want to do and have a passion for (having my own business) how do I ask for the job in some many words.

There are no magic words Dee. It is just you being you. Learn your business from top to bottom and remember "knowledge breeds confidence."

There are many sites (Google) that deal with sales and how to address people. But basically it is just being yourself and putting your client first always. Having your own business is a lot of hard work and dedication, it is not easy. However the rewards can be fantastic Dee.

When I was younger I was shy, I started a singing career and found that I actually developed two personalities one for the stage and the other the old me. Over time the two merged.

I have always loved sales, when I was 21 I started working in sales for a major insurance company and ended up winning awards.

It is basically up to you Dee, you can surrender to this attitude or you can challenge yourself and reach for success.

Over 17 years ago I started a commercial cleaning company. We now have 6 salespeople, 10 supervisors, an office staff and do over $7 million per year in sales. It took a lot of hard work but actually I have loved almost every minute of it. It has provided us with a great standard of living and the respect from my competitors and friends.

I wish you all the luck (as that is necessary too) but you must be dedicated and work with a goal in mind for success.

Here are a few things that may help: you may have to copy and paste these on line.

Remember Dee fear is a waste of time. You can conquer it or you can give in... choose. One choice offers you success, the other...

Good luck in selling :)

Please let me know if this helped you.
