Okay so I watched this movie when I was younger... I don't remember most of the details... but I think it was maybe made in the late 80's or 90's? I don't know the main actress, but I think it was Jane Seymour but I looked on IMDB and it wasn't there.

So it's about this lady who goes with her husband to Africa in a small village to do medical research and she brings her two little boys with her. Well, her husband dies so she takes over the research and her oldest boy dies (forgot how) and the younger boy also dies from when he was taking a poisonous snakes venom and putting in a plastic jar (for research) and it slipped and bit him. When he died it was in a small wooden hut and there were snakes and jars everywhere in containers. I remember the mom taking all the snakes and individually letting them go down this wide but shallow river and all the african villagers behind her.

Also I remember that I think her car died at night? And she had to walk home so she took the camera a recorded it and the next day when it was light outside they went back out to her car or something and saw that a tiger or some big animal was following her and the camera showed the footsteps of the mom and the animal on the screen.

PLEASE help me find this movie! It's one of my favorites and I just can't remember the name of it. It was a mix between a documentary and a movie. It was based on a true story I believe.
