You shouldn't wet mop ANY wood floor. Tell her to stop and maybe it will go back down. Water is getting in the tongue and groove and expanding the wood. You may have to refinish the floor. You should use a spray on cleaner-Bruce is one- and then dry mop.

You can damp mop most wood floors if they are coated with polyurathane. Big different between damp mop and wet mop so make sure you see what she is doing. The flooring should flatten out almost perfect but you must maintain low humidity and stop all mopping. Check with the manufacturer to see what coatings bamboo will accept. In the future buy your maid a Swifter damp mop system.
