I have 1.5 TON HVAC system that cools and heats 2 floors (about 800 sq ft). The only return vent is 10x6'. My HVAC serviceman thinks that I should install a second return "to prevent the HVAC from overheating and/or shutting off'. I would appreciate a second opinion. The system presently appears to work well.
