I have a kenmore dryer about 12 years old. It has been in storage for about 4 of those years. It is a model 110 66902691. I hooked it up and it runs for about 10 minutes and stops and will not start again for about another 10 minutes. Sometimes it just makes a loud noise like the motor is trying to start but the drum will not roll. And the drum is also hard to roll by hand. So my guess is that there is something wrong with the drum and it is causing the motor to shut off cause it is getting to hot. But I don't know how to fix it. I am good with my hands but have never had to work on a dryer before? Any suggestions? Please email need help! [email protected]
