My DSL264OR needs a Wep key & I have been told to go to 192.168.01 to find this... please can you help I will be so grateful as I am now going crazy trying to find

I see from some have said they were told to put 192.168.0.1 & then use admin & sky to log in (or similar. But I can't even get to the box that comes up to ask for this any suggestions... when I click on the number I am just taken somewhere else, but never to the place to login. Please help me... Jinsi

First, to get into your router's configuration you need to use your Web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc.) and enter http:\\192.168.0.1 as the address. If you put a password on your admin account, you will need to supply it.

But that will probably not help you. The WEP key is probably not stored in "the clear". Meaning it is encrypted so it will probably just show asterisks.

You may need to reset your router back to factory settings and redo everything.

Connect to your router using a cat5 ethernet cable, and then you can set the WEP password to anything you like, then replicate that on your wireless adapter.
