There are two vents on your ejector system. The vent for the fixtures may revent back to a existing dry vent but the pit vent MUST be dedicated and run out the roof by itself. Are you referring to a fixture or a pit vent? Back to you. Tom

Hi DougI

If you have an upflush toilet like the SANIPLUS macerating pump system then YES, you can tie the vent from the upflush system into the existing home plumbing vent. In fact, you could connect it right into the lavatory vent in the bathroom you are working on at a minimum of 42-46" off the floor... no need to run upstairs with it... ;)

Check out installation instructions here:

If you have a sewage ejector system then as Tom pointed out you need a dedicated vent for the system and it cannot connect into the house plumbing vent until just before the vent penetrates the roof, or as in most places, must penetrate the roof by itself, OK?

Any questions? Let us know...
