I have just married my child's mother last month, this month I find a notice of garnishment on my paycheck, We have been working together for years on support before we decided to get married. Is this a mistake? or will I be paying support to my wife? If so what are my potions?

For a garnishment to be served on your employer, a support order had to be issued by a court. Where you not aware that the mother applied for such a support order. Its also possible the mother requested public assistance and the state issued the garnishment to repay public funds provided to support the child.
So your first step is to get a copy of the garnishment order and see where it was issued from. Then go to the agency or court that issued it with a copy of your marriage license and appeal that the order be rescinded.
