I have replaced from the foot valve including jets right up to the pressure tank and including the tank. It is jet pump and the foot valve is only 145 feet from the pump head. Took a long time to prime, and now it will omly come on when pressure is almost at 0. seems to take a very long time for it build up to 45PSI

You did replace the control box. Right? What range is it? Have you fiddled with the adjusting springs? If the control box is new can it be returned and replaced? Back to you, Tom
