I need help finding the title of this movie! It is from either the late 80's or the early 90's, and is animated. The beginning has some sort of scene where a dragon ( I think) steals a prince. Then, a girl with dark hair must go find him. She slides down this muddy river, and camps out outside of the castle where the prince is. There are bats in the movie, too.

I almost think it was some sort of weird sequel to Snow White? I would love some help finding the title of this movie!!
