I have a rather unique silver candelabra of a mermaid holding the cups for the candles to go into. It has an unusual hallmark indicating the makers name, I think, to be 'U Sauter'. From what I can find out this might be of Swiss or French origin early 20th century. I would appreciate knowing some more about this manufacturer and also any ideas on who might be able to sell this piece for me. Thank you for any assistance.

Hi
The candelabra is Swiss
Made in the studios of the silversmith Ulrich Sauter
Who worked in Basel and probably dates from the early 20th Century
If it is the same as the one I am aware of with shells narwhals etc
Around the base its worth approx £500 at auction
