Hi,
I am a 27 year old woman. I am trying to conceive for more than a year now. On 9 months of trying I had a chemical pregnancy and now 5 months after, I am trying to conceive again but no luck at all. I know that stressing too much is not making any good at all and it creates negative feelings as well but I am so obsessed that I have driven myself crazy. I really do not believe that stress can cause infertility. It can of course delay ovulation but since I use ovulation predictor kid I know that every month I ovulate on time and my period comes on time so how come stress affect me since I know that ovulation occurs and I have intercourse during this fertile window? Any input is welcome.

Certainly timing is important but there are other factors involved in conceiving. This is partly why the odds of becoming pregnant in any given cycle are low.
It if frustrating and disappointing to be sure when you are wanting it so much, but do try not to let it get the best of you. Too often sex becomes almost a chore if it gets too calculated.
Stress can play a role for some women in their cycles, but many, many women become pregnant under very stressful situations so it is unlikely to play a significant role in most situations. More often than not, unless there is a true medical concern, it is simply a matter of patience for all things to fall into place at the same time.
If after several more months you still do not have success, ask your doctor about some testing for both you and your partner. Sometimes there is a male factor, or a combination of both partners, that is causing a decrease in the odds.
Again, there may be nothing amiss. Most couples will become pregnant within a year of trying... which is what did happen in your case, but some will naturally take a bit longer with everything being perfectly normal.

I think being able to rule out any medical reasons you might be having difficulty conceiving is a very good idea. I mean after trying for the length you've been trying it must have crossed your mind which then amplifies the stress you're undoubtedly already under.
Providing that everything's okay, I think you need to change your angle. Having sex because a calender says so has got to be a mood killer. Taking the stress out of equation is really the key factor. It's got to be the elephant in the room every time you have sex. You and your partner should enjoy this, make it less clinical. Maybe the two of you could clear your schedule and book a romantic weekend away in a hotel and spa and have it be about a connection.

Thank you for your answer. I forgot to mention that we both got checked and everything came back normal.
