I owed ex wife 693.00arrears,1250.00 lawyers fees and dss said I owed them 7,500.00 and for 3 years wouldn't tell me what this money was for.went to court they took and drop there money to 4,100.00 .still won't tell other than they said I have to pay some of money to there own lawyer ,I can't even afford a lawyer for myself I'm disabled vet .recently they added another 4,000.00 to my ex wife account.and she hasn't had custody ofour daughter who is now 23 since 2002.I pay 65.00 a month on this and I'm being charge 42.00 a month interest.went to court and didn't get any answers again.told them I was going to fbi for help the judge then changed his tune and said two things, first he said this court had nothing to do with this and then said I'm sure there were mistakes in my case that are human that was a red flag.what should I do sue them or something else.

You can file a motion to compell and have them delcare why they are asking you for an amount. Once you have that you should be able to chllange with an audit.

Well actually the judge did not change any tune ( beyond maybe giggle) when you said FBI since they have nothing to do with this.

You can of course file a motion in the court for disclousure, but if at anytime while a dependent the child and/or the mother received any welfare you owe that money back to them if you were not paying your child support. It is very common even if there is not a court order for support for the welfare department to come after the father of a dependent child for repayment of welfare paid out.

If you want a state agency investigated, you can contact the state attorney generals office

Most agencies have an audit feature available to you. It's a matter of how much has been paid in and what the charges are. It's that simple. You would return to family court as they are the ones holding jurisdiction in this case. What it should look like is a balance sheet. You paid X you owe Y and any reasons that don't match court orders from the get go you can question.

She was on medicaid for 6 months in 1993 or 1994.that was it.since 1997 I have paid over 30,000.00 to cs unit and my money owed is not much different now than then.2002 was last time ex wife had custody.it seems funny they added 4,000.00 more to acco
