I have recently left my old job and on my letter of resignation I stated that I would leave on the 1st of November which is the day that I get my new holiday hours am I entitald to these holiday hours? They go on what I worked in the past 6 months

I don't know who "they" are, or what you want with them, or what hours you DIDN'T work has to do with the situation...
IF you're asking about unemployment compensation, the hours used to arrive at your benefit amount is from several quarters ago. But, you're not eligible if you quit..
I you want to know something else, just ask.

You may be "entitled" to the holiday hours in your mind but should you quit or resign then the company does not have to honor your holiday hours paying you. It's going to be up to them if they decide to pay you or not since you won't be there any longer. Don't be upset or surprised if you don't get paid the holiday hours you think you are entitled to. Most exemployees don't get that pay. Only in rare occasions is it paid out after you leave.
