Nope... Traffic court isn't Criminal Court. In Traffic Court there is no presumption of innocence, you are literally guilty of what you are accused of and its up to you to prove otherwise, because driving is a privilege, not a right. They caught you red handed, they already KNOW you had a suspended license, YOU know you were breaking the law... why would they give you less than you deserve.

You will lose in Court if you plead not guilty... they pull the DMV recored showing the suspension and blam... any possible defense you can possibly produce goes right down the drain. Because there is no defense to it.

And yes... they WILL have your ENTIRE driving history from the date you got your license right there in front of the judge, every ticket or citation you have ever gotten. They know before they ask you about your history... just to catch you in a lie.

Question is how hard they are going to throw the book at you. Worst case they can toss you in jail over it, and yes... I've seen lots of people handcuffed and taken away for booking right at the podium in traffic court for driving on a suspended license, and a few with lesser punishments.

Might be worth hiring a Lawyer, pleading guilty and putting yourself on the mercy of the court... and MAYBE avoid jail time. If you have a perfectly clean DMV record for driving (doubtful if it was suspended) and no criminal history at all... you might get a lessor punishment.
