I have a Sony Bravia TV and all of a sudden there's a gray band along the top of the screen with the words HDMI 1 in the left hand corner. How can I get rid of it? Thanks.

I'd call up Sony and ask them. If this is an LCD screen then chances are it can't be fixed.

Personally it doesn't sound like a display problem.
Are you using HDMI for your connection? Can you reset TV to default?

Press the exit or return button on your TV remote. It sounds like like your TV is just displaying the current input information. Try unplugging the TV for a bit, then plugging it back in.
