Heyy everybody. My names mitch and I just need some advice. I'm a senior in high school this year and there's this sophomore named evan who ALWAYS pisses me off. The funny thing is evan is going through puberty NOW which is extremely late. His voice cracks all the time and people do horrible things to him when it happens. I've seen him get punched in the nuts at least 4 or 5 times just this year when his voice cracks just cause people think its funny. They make comments like "oh evelyn's balls are getting lower" just to upset him more. He's only about 5'5 and a 110 lbs so he can't really defend himself. The problem is people always make fun of the kid for it and I do to. Should I try to help him even though he always makes me mad? Thanks

What if that was you.. wouldnt you want someone to help you.. or just be a little nice to you..

When I was in high school, I tried my best to be nice to kids like Evan, use your judgement... sometimes they are honestly a lost cause.

Yeah, be a good Samaritan and help the poor guy out. I knew this kid who was two years younger than me in high school and because of his "geeky", "nerdy" complexion everyone teased him around and he even got bullied a bunch of time. So I went out of my way, even though I didn't particularly care for him, and established him within my group of friends, in hopes that maybe like this the bullying would stop. No one likes to be harassed, especially by their peers, so if you see it happening and you can do something about it without putting yourself or/and him in danger then do so. If you can't, then tell a teacher or principal, they should try and do something about this.
