Why?

If you have not won him over in 11 months, there is probably nothing to win over, except get more excuses, and obstacles. Why, because he is stuck on stupid, and such people make lousy companions.

If you are looking for a companion you may want to keep looking considering that this guy doesn't seem to want to be with you if he is finding excuses to NOT be with you or to NOT fall in love with you. Find a companion that was to actually accompany you! Let go of him and find yourself something that benefits you, not someone that only creates stress in your life. You say you are happy right now, so do whatever it takes to keep it that way, because happiness is hard for some people to achieve and great when you do.

You don't need anyone who is always showing jealousy, as that ends up being controlling behavior. Since you're a successful woman on your own, why do you even want to mess with a man like that?

I'd say it's time to move on and find someone who truly loves you and wants to be your partner.
