Is there a hidden meaning behind someone who uses their dates name excessively in a conversation? As in, beyond saying it when greeting, getting their attention etc but to use it in every third sentence or so... I find it a little strange but if anyone can shine some light on the matter and advise what they think it could mean please?!

Thank you!

A number of "dating tips" recommend that you use a person's name as much as possible in conversation... it creates a psychological bond...

I don't see a problem with it, personally I wouldn't mind if someone kept using my name(at least they know it). But everyone is different.

Most guys I know who are like that tend to be controlling but who knows they could just be a bad batch. However, if you feel odd about it then unless he has an amazing personality, I would let him go. Sometimes our intuitions have strange ways of telling us things.

I agree that is a bit weird.

But if you like this guy despite his little quirk, then continue to date him.

We all have our own little quirks.

I actually heard somewhere that the one word a girl wants to hear most from a guy is her name, maybe your guy heard that little fact too. I don't think it's a bad thing, he probably just likes your name and wants to make you feel special.

Yeah I know people like that an it is a bit annonying but if that's the worst thing about him that's not to bad.
