JUST FIXED SQUEAKY NOISE BY REPLACING REAR BEARING AS PER APPLYGUY RECOMMENDATION, BEFORE PUTTING THE DRUM BACK ON, I VACUUM the felt located on lower curve portion on back inner side of the metal cabinet which I thought was linen. I just sucked it up.
When I have everything back in one piece, the drum is making scratching noise in the back and a thump sound on the left side of the cabinet. I don't know did I offset the drum by taking out the felt on the lower back. Right now it is working, but noisy (scratching and thump). Do you think it is the felts? If it is, can you show me where I can purchase the felts and glue that is heat rated for this repair - unit westinghouse WDG216RBWW, gas dryer. Ctom
