1) Last month, I didn't have a normal period. I just had a couple days of brown discharge that was thick
2)this month, I am almost 2 weeks late for my period
3) but I am not experiencing morning sickness.
4) However, I am extremely irritable, I have breast soreness, and I have been craving certain foods. No weight gain to my knowledge and I haven't been overly stressed. Just the normal stuff.
I also have a history of PCOS. My fiancé and I have been having intercourse without birthcontrol or condoms for almost a year because of the cysts even though I was having regular periods until now (although I do have a history of missing cyclesf or long periods.) And no, I'm not crazy. I had a doctor tell me that I had a very low chance of having kids because of the cysts, so I didn't think that I needed BC. I am also a smoker and 19 years old. I am 5'4" and weigh about 150lb

Women with PCOS do become pregnant, it may be more difficult sometimes, but it certainly happens.

Morning sickness doesn't happen for everyone. I felt a bit queasy for about a day with my fourth and that was it for any of my pregnancies.

The possibly symptoms you are having could be due to your period getting ready to start, could be due to pregnancy, could be just feeling off.

I'd try a test and see what results you get. If you were indeed pregnant you would want to stop smoking, or at least cut way back.

Look at it this way... you are having unprotected sex, your periods are usually regular, odds are that you are ovulating, pregnancy is going to be a possibility even with PCOS.

If you haven't seen this already, this is a great site for more info on PCOS: SoulCysters.com: Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) Treatment & Resources (http://www.soulcysters.com/)

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I have a doctors apt tomorrow. Should I just get a test there or should I do a dry test before that?

Might as well test there... they would likely do one anyway whether you did one at home or not.

I have no idea how to broach this issue with my doctor. He has been my families doctor since I was a child plus he goes to our church. This situation is so hard. My fiancé and I don't have the means to have a baby. But I don't approve of abortion so that leaves me almost no options. Cross your fingers that I am not!
