I have miscarried 4x. Twice since the birth of my only child almost 3 years ago. We are trying to have one more, lost 2 pregnancies in the last 6 months after trying for almost 2 years to conceive. The last one was 2 days after seeing the heartbeat on ultrasound.

In short.. I have been tested up and down for everything known to man. Ive had abdominal endometriosis tests, pelvic ultrasounds and exams, semen analysis from hubs, tests for my fertile reserves, blood panels out the wazoo... Everything came back fine except something called the anticardiolipin antibody (sp) which was only high/normal range. Oh, and I found out I have celiac disease.

My OB has pretty much written me off. She says there is nothing she can do for me except refer me back to an RE. I went there for testing early on when it took over a year to get pregnant.. and all tests were fine as well. All the RE wants to pursue is IUI.. but if I am miscarrying.. what is the sense in IUI and spending thousands?

Anyway.. are there any other options out there? I am completely lost and defeated. I feel like no one can help me and I have to say it's over.

I would go back to the RE, perhaps a different one, with the latest results of the celiac and the anticardiolipin antibody, both of which might possibly play a role in the miscarriages.

It may be something as simple as diet changes for the celiac and daily aspirin for the antibody. They would be able to discuss the different med options that may be beneficial.
