There is nothing in MD that I know of that says a felon can't get grants or loans. I counsel felons and they are in school and in business. There was even a chapter in the FreeMoney book I had that addressed just ex felons. Hang in there

I guess my stock answer is "for what" do you want to go to college, you may get some, depending on the type of crime.

For housing assistance in buying a house, yes there may be some at a local level.

Are there grants paid to non profits to help with job training or for half way housing. But they are far and few between
