My husband kissed me right next to my ear and I head a high pitched noise. This happened a week ago and I have muffled hearing since then. Is this permanent?

That is pretty much all the info. He kissed me right on my ear (my hair was covering it) but it was a really high pitched kiss. I immediately got a high pitched sound in my ear even after he pulled away. It only lasted a few seconds. However, even since then I have muffled hearing in that ear. It happened about a week ago. I'm worried that it might be permanent.
