Hi doctor this is shweta, I did my icsi, 4 embryos were transferred out of which 2 were of grade 1 and 2 of grade 2 on 1st October, my beta hcg has come negative. I still get cramps in my lower abdomen, veins of my breast have darken. Can you suggest me what has happened and what should I do?

Hi shwetaz... not a doctor, but might be able to help. How long after the icsi was the blood test done? What were you told when the negative result came back?

I would ask your doctor for their opinion on what may have happened, and maybe about having a repeat blood test done in about a week to confirm the results of the first one.

Maybe there was a pregnancy that just didn't take, maybe it was too early for the test to pick up enough hcg. It could be a result of the meds you have taken to stimulate egg production.
