What drains are stinky? City sewer or septic tank? Is the rain water runoff tied into your sewer system? The first thing I would check is the trap seal in the floor drain. Remove the strainer and poke a stick down in the trap. You should see about 1 1/2" of moisture on the end.
If it's not iun use pour pint of cooking oil in the trap to prevent evaporation. It sounds like you have a partial blockage on down the line that allows normal discharges to pass but when a large volume is discharged it overloads sending a bubble of sewer gas ahead of it. I need more information so answer my questions and we'll clear this stinky mess up. Back to you, Tom

The drains that are stinky are washer drain pipe and drain pipe in floor under sink in basement.I am city water and sewer.yes, runoff water goes to sewer system. The drain in the floor I can't feel no end, so will the stick be wet from just sticking it down in there.
