She had emergency surgery today due to pyometra, or a massively swollen uterus. She has taken her antibiotics and painkiller, but has not eaten anything or drank anything since we brought her home. Its now been about 7 hours since we picked her up and she had the surgery about 11-13 hours ago. I'm kind of worried about her getting dehydrated or something because the vet made it sound like she would want to be drinking water and we were going to have to try to prevent her from getting it, but she hasn't even tried to drink anything. She has pretty much just woken up from her grogginess, but is still kind of out of it. She also just threw up in the backyard and her nose is still very hot. Sorry if I'm just rambling on or these details are not clear, I just hope that I can get a quick answer.

Sometimes dogs do not want to drink when they are coming out of anesthetic. Wait until she is less wobbly and out of it, then try again.
As for the vomit, it's not abnormal for that to happen after surgery.
