I have a 1950-D $20 star note from New York (B). It is in very fine condition. Only a small bend in the lower right hand corner. I am trying to find out its value. Any suggestion?

hi there young lady

your note I am assuming has the signature combo. Of granahan-dillon and also I will assure you are correct in your grading of vf for your note. Currently your note is popular and is valued at around $50 dollars and this would be a retail price. I would need to see your note in hand sight seen to confirm all this.
also there is lots of demand for crisp unc. Notes and since your note is available in choice crisp unc. For around $300 and it is a note that can be easily found then your vf is a harder note to sell

again if I saw your note and it was not damaged in any way and vf and then slabbed by an accepted currency grading service (slabbed means sealed in a tamper resistant holder with an independent third party that is accepted in the currency collecting community) your note would sell for again around 50 dollars

hope this helps
