I had a client today that wanted to go from black to brown. I did to sets of highlights on her her and the ends came out a copper and the roots yellow. I then proceeded with the colour stripper over the whole process. The black went from and level 1 to a level 3
And the high lights went to an undertone of 5/6 and the roots a yellow. I then decided to put a 13 CS ( Swedish Ash) plus 30 vol over the midlengths/ends of the hair and then on the roots I added a 8n plus 20vol . The result was awful, and I thought as I weaved out the colour that surely the dark would still be there. I have to now add 6n+10 vol tomorrow to create a more natural look to the roots. WHat should I have done?
