How does a MySpace member - when going on a FRIENDS page to post a comment - THEN making an error - DELETE that allowed posted comment on the other member's site?

Can it be done?. or does the FRIEND have to delete the errored post him/herself?

I believe the only comments you can delete are your own...

I found out you 'can' SEND A MESSAGE to YOUR 'OWN' MySpace Account -

Just simply log-in to your account, then go to your PROFILE, then click on SEND MESSAGE

Wish they would make one to 'CC' messages... from OTHER'S MySpace pages... grunt!

Yes you can delete it. Next to where it says 'leave comment' there should be a 'view all comments'.

If you click on that then it will open all the comments in a new page. It will allow you to delete any comments that YOU have made.

I have done this, it works...

By the same 'FRIEND' that made the comment - NOT on their 'own' account...

That's what I mean... If YOU made a comment on someone else page, then you can follow the above advice and delete the comment YOU made on someone else page...

But not you cannot delete Other peoples comments on Other peoples pages...

I log onto 'MY'... 'MY' - myspace account... controlling all of MY account settings, etc - ON THERE...

I want to DELETE a previously made COMMENT post
that I had made ON SOMEONE ELSE'S myspace... OK?

so--- I 'CLICK ON' that FRIEND'S myspace account icon where I GET to his
page... where I still see ON HIS FRONT PAGE DOWN BELOW my errored post -right under his 'friends'... OK?

***SO: 'WHERE' ON 'HIS' FRONT PAGE do I 'click-on' to DELETE MY already posted comment?

I swear YOU CANNOT do it from YOUR OWN ACCOUNT, AM I RIGHT?

I've LOOKED ALL AROUND and there is NO link to doing this ON ONE'S 'OWN' ACCOUNT!

Yes yes you can, I've done it before, like 2 weeks ago I made a comment but I wanted to change it so I deleted it off my friends page and added another one...

Ok Log into your account

Go to your friends frontpage

Scroll down to the comments section

At the top where is says something like 'showing 50 of 250 comments' and 'add comment' it should also say 'view all comments'

*Note* Myspace is being silly right now so I can't get in and reference it exactly, Im trying to do this from my memory :) so some things might be a little out of order, but it should all be there.

Ok you click on the 'view all comments'

This will bring that persons comments to a new page with ONLY their comments... none of their other frontpage stuff will show, and it will be in simple format. When you get a new comment and you follow the link on YOUR page to see YOUR new comments, you know how its all the standard Myspace graphics? I think its like tan and white... well that's what this 'view all comments' page should look like when you click on it.

Ok so now your seeing all of your friends comments on this other page. Scroll down until you see the comment you made. In the same square as your comment you should see on the bottom right 'delete my comment'. Click that, it might ask you to confirm deleting it, click yes, and there you go, it should take you back to the original front page of your friend...

OK I just confirmed that this is how you do it.

Under the friends section the comments section starts.

It should show something like this;

Geepers friends comments
Displaying # of # comments ( view all | Add Comment )

Then the comments begin from here on down...


Another note* some people have their pages customized so that the 'view all' doesn't appear, and things are all backwards and yada yada, I'm sure you know what I mean... If it doesn't say 'view all' then I really don't know how else to delete it.

Oh and the comments will appear in the original Myspace colors, white orange and tannish...

BUT - they make it not TOO difficult to put in a 'code', erasing your sex, age and city info on the front!!
