I called my dr to discuss my son during the conversation he started asking about my husband and when my husband went to be released back to work the dr told him no because he talked to his wife and told my husband because of my response he won't release him why can a dr treat someone on another persons resonce instead of the patient themselves do they have the right to treat a grown person through hearsay. Does this mean if someone says something to a dr then my treatment will be determined by someone other than myself

A doctor can get his sourses from many places,

So who was lying, the patient or the wife ? Because if treatment varied by who was telling the doctor the truth.

If the patient was going to tell the doctor a falsehood to get back to work and not the truth perhaps ?
