I really like this guy who goes to my school, (I'm in middle school) the problem is, my friends don't like him at all.
They have really stupid reasons for hating him and it annoys me. They say that they are joking, but it is making me angry because I need someone to talk to about this and not to say, "He's stupid." and that's it. My good friend who DOES help me with this goes to a different school so that's not much help during the school day. He knows that my friends hate him, and tolerates their presence at lunch when he sits with me, but I feel really bad. He is so nice and they are so mean to him!

My friends don't like him (I think these are the reasons) because he is kind of strange (weird sense of humor) and his accent bothers them (he's British) stupid reasons to hate someone---right? I have known him since second grade and I know him a lot better than them. I have tried telling them more about him in the hopes that they will like him better if they know him, but to no avail.

When you try to talk to your friends about it, what do they say?

Do you tell them that it hurts your feelings that they are mean to him? Considering that you care for him.

Same thing is happened to my so I just aked him out and left my friends because if a friend is not there to supprot you then they where never meant to be your friends
