I am 18 years old and currently studying for my A-Levels, after which I plan on going to university. However, I would like to go to university in the states, how do I go about this? I have no idea where to even start. Also, I was thinking about doing something in the medical field, doctor, nurse, that type of thing, but have no taken no relevant subjects at A-level, is it still possible to do this in the states? Please help!

Hi,
To get an admission in any undergraduate school, you need to take two exams-SAT and if your mother language is not English, then TOEFL . But remember, you must be financially capable of paying all your expenses as scholarship is not available in undergraduate level.
If you want to build a career in biological sciences, I wonder why you did not take relevant subjects in your O-level and A-level grades. You should have taken chemistry and biology. Anyway,You should search for some universities first and should see whether they accept any student without these subjects or not. Then should start preparing for SAT, as it is a very difficult exam. As you are a student of English medium, TOEFL will be a very easy test for you.
Thanks.

Yes, it can be possible. Much can depend on where you wanted to go. Did you have any particular state/university in mind?
