I've lost all of my checks from the places I've worked this year and have no way to find out how much I've paid on taxes or how much money I've made this year. Is there some service I could use that would get this years work and tax history for this year?

I also have another question of, how would I go about getting last years tax return information?
This is my second year doing taxes and I'm under the impression I will be needing last years info on this years return.

First, paystubs are required to include a year to date figure. So your next stub will include that. Otherwise you can wait for your W2(s).

As your return from last year, didn't you keep a copy?

1.) I've had three jobs this year and I lost the paystubs moving. So a new paystub from work won't really be possible this time. :/

2.)Yes and no. I used a tax return software to send in my taxes last year and the computer containing that has since fried. Ha :X

First, you need to learn to keep better control of your records. But, if you used an online service to file, they should have a copy of the return, log back on to the site.

As for your paystubs, contact the prior employers. But you will get W2s by 1/31/11

Here's how to get info regarding your old tax returns:

As for info on taxes withheld year-to-date: as ScottGem says, wait till January and your employers will include that info on your W2's. Be sure that your former employers all have your current mailing address.

Also, make sure you have the addresses of your employers, plus track to make sure they are still in business come December. If not, you may have to track down the owner to get your W-2.
