I own a 8gb ios 4 iPod touch that my mom brought me last year boxing day, I have a wi-fi network at home that I use for my laptop when my parents have to use the upstairs one connected with the router. So it says on my iPod that it's connected to dlink ( my home wi-fi network) and yet whenever I try to go on itunes or something it says it's not connected to the internet. Every time it's like this yet it works fine on my laptop! It works okay on another wi-fi network through, but now lately on itunes, app store, ibooks or anything else that requires wi-fi it's very, very slow responsive and sometimes dosen't respond to touch. Could it be there's something wrong with my iPod? But it works great on everything else! confused

Delete and recreate your wireless connection ensuring you have the correct encryption key.

Update the ipod's firmware with the latest itunes 10.
If that doesn't work try tweaking some router settings.
